Need help forming habits? Believe it or not, there are people everywhere that are breaking away and making new patterns in their lives every single day.
For as many people that seem stuck on the treadmill of wild promises, brief struggles, and regression to the mean...
People who have "been" stuck are getting unstuck and experiencing fabulous results. That's usually because they're breaking free of excuses like these:
"I Don't Have The Time"
If you don't have time, build a plan that lets you leverage your time. Then squeeze in ten minutes per day. No matter how strictly regimented your time is, you can afford to give five or ten minutes to your work.
It's amazing how much progress you can make if you devote ten uninterrupted minutes to something. When you aren't Facebooking, Tweeting, checking email or talking to someone else, you can get in a zone of uninterrupted productivity. I believe in this and experience it on a daily base, as many of my successful partners do.
"I Don't Have The Money"
Again, build a plan that leverages your free time. Write articles. Comment on blogs, create products, make contacts. For most network marketers, connections are the most valuable thing that they have, and this can be done without money. All it takes is persistence and the ability to set a positive habit.
At every stage of our lives, there's a trade off between financial resources and time resources. The best people make the most of whatever situation they are in.
"I Don't Have All The Knowledge And Skills"
Altough it is good to have some skills, look for plans that don't require a big list of technical skills. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Almost anyone can set up an account on Twitter, or make a video for YouTube.
Find people and recruit them who fit in your "blind spot," people with skills and knowledge that compliment yours. Reach out to them and work in the business together. By pooling your resources, you cut down on the piles and piles of work that's needed to get any project off of the ground.
Just get started, that's the most important thing.
"My Family/Spouse Doesn't Support Me"
That's very tough. One of the things you can you do is rev them up in stages. Sell your friends and family in the same way you'd sell something to someone else. Start with the emotional stuff - tell them how it feels when you haven't reached your goal (whatever that goal might be). Make sure that they're on board with the idea that something is a miss and needs to change.
Then start discussing the causes of that problem, and how your solution will solve it. Chances are that somewhere along the line, there will be some objections - and you shouldn't brush those aside, because they're from people that know you and have lived with you.
But you've got to figure out what those objections are and address them, and dialogue is the only real way to do that.
If none of this works, you might have to put their concerns to the side and start educating them along the way. Nothing works to assuage people's concerns than seeing you make small successes, so start by focusing on the fundamentals and improving your ability to see things through to completion.
"It's Just Too Hard"
Here is a scary technique that will help you see how easy your current situation is. Imagine if things got worse. If you lost your internet access, if your kids got sick, if you lost your job or got stuck in a job that require too much work for not enough money. Imagine if your eyes stopped working as well, or you got carpal tunnel syndrome.
Wouldn't you be grateful for the opportunities that you have right now? Wouldn't you look back and wished that you had the chance to focus, to give everything you have in preparation for future disaster? Apply that intensity and that focus right now.
To your success,
Silard Matrai

Bridging The Gap Between Knowledge and Action in MLM
Chances are, you already know what needs to be done in your MLM business. You know you need to stop procrastinating. You know you need to watch less TV, play less online or Xbox games, less social media "hanging around". You know that you need to set smart goals and intelligent deadlines. And hopefully, you know you need to track your work, track your results, and put more of your effort into the aspects of your MLM business to give you the strongest results.
But there's a very big gap between knowledge into action also in MLM. Think of all the money that's spent on knowledge: whether it's a large companies trying to improve their efficiency, or housewives and stay at home dads trying to get into better shape. They know the adjustments they need to make, but they always fail to set habits and follow though.
Let's look together at some of the gaps that keep you from turning knowledge into profitable and useful habits.
The Fear Of Change
Failure can be comfortable. It represents a continuation of a routine that, at least on some level, has brought us a lot of pleasure. Now where this breaks down is that pleasure and happiness are two very different things.
Pleasure can be bought with a cookie, it can be found in the bottom of a bottle, you can get a short rush of it with a few minutes on Facebook.
Happiness is harder, and the road towards it is longer, winding, and littered with distractions. The constant pursuit of pleasure, ironically enough, keeps more more people away from becoming happy.
You Won't Learn By Doing
There are too many people who tried to do by learning instead of learning by doing also in the MLM industry. Talking about problems to death rarely solves them. People talk too much already. It's natural to want to go into a scary situation with knowledge at your back. But once you've learned the basics of a skill, start acting on it. Then look for new information once you've run into a serious roadblock, or have a smaller aspect of the skill that demands your attention.
You Rely On Motivation Instead Of Habit
It's okay to feel "unmotivated" sometimes, to hit a roadblock and need something positive to dig you out. But you're always needing to be motivated for any kind of positive action in your life, it's a sign that you haven't really put the energy you should into setting habits.
Habits aren't subjects that need motivation. Habits are things that we just do, whether it's a good time or a bad time. If you can devote one month to establishing a positive habit, chances are much better that you do it for a long time to come.
Accepting "Life Excuses"
Too many people take "life happens" as an excuse not to do the things that they should. It's almost like there's no effort to leap the obstacles that life puts in front of them. It's important to set uninterrupted times and uninterrupted places for the most important priorities cannot be violated. When you give yourself a choice between any two things, there's a chance you will take the less beneficial choice.
Set up at daily routine that eliminates those choices.
Going From Zero To A Hundred
When it sinks in how far behind we are on our goals, it's easy to try to do too much at once and destroy our desire to improve altogether. While there are people who can handle this sort of drastic shift, for most people in the MLM business it'll be best to start small, focus on repetitive action, and scale up from there - like I learned it earlier from multi million dollar earner and tody one of the best trainers of the MLM industry: Dale Calvert !
No More Excuses
The time for learning and not doing it over. Step up and start making a serious change in the way you approach problems... right now!
A few years ago I wrote an article about the pitfalls of procrastination in the ProfessionalMLM Magazine in Hungary, I though it is worth to share with you some of my thoughts, experiences also in this blog as I consider procrastination is the highest "business expence" or danger.
I trust, this article will help you in your MLM Business,
